To my daughter I will say,
‘See your beauty
without a compliment
or a mirror.’
A GREAT REVELATION
You don’t have to believe, judge, delete, or act upon your ‘negative’ thoughts.
Just notice them.
Observe with fascination.
They soon pass like clouds into nothingness and silence, leaving no trace.
They are not your enemies, and ultimately, they are not even ‘negative’.
They are just thoughts.
Let them stay, let them go.
They are innocent clouds in a vast sky of awareness.
friendly reminder that spirit animals are a sacred concept in a variety of religions worldwide (many of them being aboriginal religions that are at risk of destruction by european colonialism) and are not a way to joke about your admiration for something
Learn to live without self concern. For this you must know your own true being as indomitable, fearless, ever victorious. Once you know with absolute certainty that nothing can trouble you but your own imagination, you come to disregard your desires and fears, concepts and ideas, and live by truth alone.
Making out with a person for the first time is the coolest thing and the second coolest thing is driving home and getting aware of all the parts of your face where they were and tasting their lip balm on your lips. The third coolest thing is outer space.
When we listen more deeply and clearly, compassion arises, and we use mindful speech that reflects our sincere and caring intentions. Instead of speaking cruelly, we begin to listen with compassion.
Anonymous asked: I would love to consumer more natural products and food but they're so much more expensive! How are you able to afford that type of lifestyle? I always had thought it was just the rich soccer moms who could afford but you do it so well!
Hahaha most soccer moms do not eat organic food, I’m pretty sure. Im not rich. i haven’t had a real job in years. i just do it, I’m committed. I don’t know… Nothing else is an option for me. Anything that is not organic does not register as food to me, it’s poisoned. It’s not that much more expensive unless you really buy the cheapest stuff possible. Sometimes you have to sacrifice quantity for quality.
